Setting up Class Groups in PowerGrade

1. Open PowerGrade
2. Choose the desired class to initially setup (A) from the Classes menu.
3. From the Windows Menu (A), choose Assignments

OR

click the Assignments icon

OR

4. Select a category for the assignment from the dropdown menu (A)

Name the assignment.
Abbreviate the name.
Enter Points Possible.
Weight the assignment. (Eample: If weighted with a 2, the assigment grade is counted twice.)
Enter the Due Date. You can click on the calendar icon to select a date.
Optionally, enter a description for the assignment. (This description will appear on the parent portal.)
A Web Link can be added to the description.
Standards may be assigned to an assignment if they have been set up by your school.
When finished, click the Accept button and the assignment is added to the list on the left of the window.
Repeat as necessary for more assignments.

7. Click the Close button to exit
