Taking Attendance Using the Seating Chart in PowerGrade
|
| PowerGrade takes attendance by exception - if the student does not have a code, the student is present.
Attendance can also be taken using the Attendance Page

| 1. Open PowerGrade. |
|
| 2. Choose the desired class (A) from the Classes menu. |
 |
| 3. Choose the Windows menu (A). |
 |
4. Pick Seating Chart from the drop-down menu.
Click on the Seating icon

OR

 |

| 5. Click on the Take Attendance tab (A)
6. Click on the seat (B) (picture) of the student for which you want to take attendance.

| 7. Pick an attendance code for that student.
Note that some schools may only have an Absent code and some may have many others.
|
 |
| 8. The attendance code will appear above the seat and the bar will change color.
Repeat for other students.
|
 |
| 9. Click the Save button to submit the attendance.
